Helping Horses Move Soundly & Feel Their Best
I help horses train for soundness by addressing movement patterns, postural imbalances, and nervous system restrictions. As a Balanced Through Movement Method (BTMM) apprentice trainer and nerve release practitioner, my goal is to support horses in developing sustainable, pain-free movement that allows them to perform at their best—whether in sport, work, or companionship.
What I do
Postural & Movement Assessment
When nerves become restricted, they can cause tension, compensation patterns, and discomfort. Through gentle, hands-on nerve release techniques, I help restore freedom of movement so the horse can let go of restrictions and move with ease.
Balanced Through Movement Method (BTMM) Training
BTMM focuses on postural soundness, meaning the horse moves in a way that promotes long-term strength, balance, and well-being. Through groundwork and movement-based exercises, I help horses develop a body that works for them, not against them.
Nerve Release & Biomechanical Support
Horses often compensate for pain or restrictions by altering their movement. I assess posture, biomechanics, and muscle engagement to identify imbalances and help horses rediscover correct, functional movement patterns.
Why It Matters
Many movement issues in horses stem from underlying postural imbalances, nerve tension, and compensation patterns. Instead of treating symptoms, my approach targets the root cause, helping horses feel better, move better, and stay sounder—long-term.
